At approximately 4:55 a.m. May 8, Sylvan Beach Troopers were dispatched to a one-car accident on Poppleton Road in Verona. An investigation revealed that the operator, Corey A. Rowley, 26, of Camden, was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
Rowley was taken into custody and charged with driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor. He is scheduled to return to Verona Town Court May 24 at 5:30 p.m.
