On May 4 at approximately 11:07 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-190 for multiple traffic violations. The driver of the vehicle, Matthew J. Hooker, 31, of Cheektowaga, was found to be intoxicated.
He was transported and processed at SP Buffalo, where his blood-alcohol content was determined to be 0.19 percent. He was subsequently charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated; an unclassified misdemeanor, and multiple vehicle and traffic violations.
Hooker was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable in Buffalo City Court May 12 at 9:30 a.m.
