Huxley, AdinaOn Saturday, May 14 at approximately 8:30 p.m., State Police in Remsen responded to Obrien Road in the Town of Forestport for a reported vehicle off the road.

When Troopers arrived, they located a 2004 Cadillac off the east side shoulder of the roadway.  The driver, Adina F. Huxley, 29, of Cooper Road in Cold Brook, had been operating the vehicle with 3- and 4-year-old children in the car when she went off from the roadway.

Huxley was subsequently arrested for aggravated driving while intoxicated, a class E felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor. Huxley was processed at SP Remsen where she had a reportable BAC of .13 percent. She was charged under Leandra’s Law for having children in the car.

Huxley was arraigned in the Town of Remsen Court and was remanded to the Oneida County jail in lieu of $500 cash/ $1000 bond. Huxley is to appear in Forestport Town Court Tuesday, May 17, at 3 p.m.
