On May 16, State Police responded to WalMart on State Route 3 in the Town of Granby, Oswego County.
When Troopers arrived, Asset Protection staff showed them security footage of a male who entered the store and left with a tent valued at $229 without rendering payment.
Investigation revealed the suspect was Rocco A. Stanley, 31, of Northstar Boulevard, Oswego. Stanley was arrested at his residence and charged with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor.
Stanley is scheduled to appear in Granby Town Court June 9 at 7 p.m.
