Beginning Memorial Day Weekend, View, the arts center in Old forge located at 3273 State Route 28, will begin new summer hours. In an effort to offer an alternative for families and visitors in the evening, View will now be open Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays until 9 p.m.
Summer hours starting May 27, will be Saturday through Tuesday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday through Friday 9 a.m. through 9 p.m. There will be a family friendly performance every Wednesday at 7 p.m., adult dance classes on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. and Fridays will include comedy nights and swing dancing.
On June 11, View will again host its annual Neighbor Day Open House from noon to 4 p.m. New this year will be “Taste of the Town” where local restaurants will offer samples of offerings served at their establishment.
