This May, the Utica Public Library will host its third annual “Through My Eyes” Photography Contest for adults aged 18 and up.
To register for the contest, simply bring your entry to the main lobby Friday, May 27, starting at 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The first 70 entries will comprise the contest.
Cash prizes will be awarded in the following 7 categories: Best of Show, Best Striking Use of Color, Best Social Commentary, Best Portrait, Best Architectural, Best Nature, and Best Black & White.
All the details and rules are available in the main lobby of the library. Entries that are not wall display ready (can be hung from a nail), will not be accepted. Winners reception will be held Tuesday, June 21, at 6:30 p.m., and category cash prizes will be handed out at that time.
