On May 24, State Police in Sylvan beach arrested Joseph R. Pohl, 27, of 255 Salt Springs Road, Fayetteville, for criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, a class A misdemeanor.
Pohl is accused of placing his hands around the neck of a female with intent to impede her breathing. Pohl was arraigned in the Town of Verona Court and remanded to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $500 cash or $1000 bond. He is due back in Court May 31 at 5 p.m.
