Caz libraryEnjoy an afternoon of laughter with beloved two-time Oscar winning actress Sally Field in her new romantic comedy-drama, Hello, My Name is Doris (2016). The Cazenovia Public Library will bring the film to the big screen on Friday, June 24th, at 1:00 pm in the Community Room.

After a lifetime of being overlooked and ignored, Doris (Sally Field) finds her world turned upside down by John Fremont (Max Greenfield), her company’s handsome new art director. Inspired by a self-help seminar, a smitten Doris sets out to woo her much younger coworker.

With guidance from her best friend’s 13-year-old granddaughter, Doris gathers information on her one-and-only and begins showing up at John’s regular haunts. To her surprise, Doris is soon welcomed into John’s hip social circle, winning over his Williamsburg friends with her eclectic vintage wardrobe, eccentricities, and charming naiveté.

This late-life coming-of-age story shines with top-notch performances across the board. Witty and thoughtful, Hello, My Name is Doris is sure to make you smile and cheer, “I’m Possible!”

Hello, My Name is Doris is rated R and runs 95 minutes. Free popcorn is provided.
