(Hamilton) Good Nature Farm Brewery & Tap Room will break ground at their five-acre project site located just south of the Village of Hamilton on the west side of NYS Route 12B in the Town of Hamilton. Good Nature will build a new brewery, including a tasting room and beer garden. The project has been in planning for over two years.
Good Nature is partnering with nearby SUNY Morrisville and Colgate University on educational initiatives and research projects. Good Nature’s new brewery will serve as a training ground for students involved in SUNY Morrisville’s new Brewing Studies program–a partnership established through New York State’s START-UP NY program–and Colgate University’s Upstate Institute will partner with Good Nature to develop community-based learning opportunities for students.
Colgate students will continue to manage the University’s community garden on the property, where it has been in operation since spring 2014.
