The Herkimer County College Foundation’s 24th Annual Generals Open Golf Tournament was held on Monday, June 13, at Stonebridge Golf & Country Club in New Hartford.
Tournament winners, for the second year in a row, were Day, Scarafile & Read with a score of 59. Second place went to D’Arcangelo with a score of 61, and Kids Oneida placed third with a score of 62.
Skins were awarded to Fastrac, Mohawk Village Market and Team DSR. Men’s closest to the pin went to Tom Urtz playing for Northland Communications. Men’s closest to the line went to Nick Laino playing for Kids Oneida. Ladies closest to the line went to Lorene Bass playing for Herkimer ARC. Men’s longest drive went to Jason Palkovic of the Herkimer College Athletics team. Women’s longest drive was awarded to Suguar Ardo playing for Northland Communications.
The tournament’s title sponsor was Day, Scarafile & Read Insurance.
