            The Cazenovia Public Library’s summer schedule (July 1 – Aug. 15) is brimming with fun and educational activities for kids thanks to Children’s Programming Coordinator Jenna Wright Martin.

“A Willow Patch Adventure”: Thursday, July 14, at 10:30 am

            Children ages 8-12 are invited to join Cazenovia Preservation Foundation (CPF) Community Coordinator, Kate O’Connor as she leads an investigation into the Willow Patch ecosystem and the diverse organisms that call it home. We will meet at the Library and walk over to the Willow Patch together. A rain date is scheduled for Thursday, July 21, at 10:30 am.

“Sprockets to Spokes: An Adventure in Basic Bike Repair”: Tuesday, July 19th, at 7:00 pm

            Calling all cyclists ages 8 and up! Roll up your sleeves, grab a wrench, and learn how to care for you bike and keep it in perfect shape. Topics include chain and tire maintenance, brake tuning, and basic bike fitting. All materials are provided.

“Summer Explorer Days”: Wednesdays (July 6th – August 10th), 1:30-3:00 pm in the Community Room

Play games, read books, and explore art and science all summer long at the Library! These programs are designed for children ages 6 and up.

  • July 20: “Dance Party”
  • July 27: “Fairy Tale Festival”
  • Aug. 3: “Library Olympics”
  • Aug. 10: “Silly Sports”
