Children ages 6 and up are invited to join Ms. Jenna Wednesday, July 13, at 1:30 p.m., in the Community Room for “The Art of Nature,” the second installment of the Summer Explorer Days program series. Each wonderful session is filled with fun and educational activities designed to keep children’s minds and bodies active all summer long.
In “The Art of Nature” we will look to our natural surroundings for creative inspiration. As a group, we will take a walk around the Library to collect interesting objects. Back inside, we will transform our finds into magnificent pieces of art to take home at the end of the program. Don’t miss out on this special art workshop!
Registration is required. Stop by the Library or call 655-9322 to reserve a spot.
Play games, read books, and explore art and science all summer long at the Library! Mark your calendars for these upcoming Explorer Days:
July 20: “Dance Party”
July 27: “Fairy Tale Festival”
Aug. 3: “Library Olympics”
Aug. 10: “Silly Sports”
For younger children: join Betsy Kennedy in the Story Garden at 6:30 p.m. for Teddy Bear Story Time. Wear your pajamas, bring along your favorite stuffed animal, and enjoy an evening of pet-themed bedtime stories, songs and rhymes.
All events at the Cazenovia Public Library are free and open to the public. For more information on these and other Library events, call 655-9322 or visit www.cazenoviapubliclibrary.org.
