On Friday, July 8, at approximately 6:15 p.m., State Police responded to 93 Rathburn Road in Granby for a missing 5-year-old child.
When Troopers arrived, they began searching the area around the house, garage and pool areas. After a short search, the 5-year-old male was located at the bottom of the in-ground pool behind the home.
The 5-year-old male, identified as George S. Blowers, IV, of Albany Street, Oswego, was transported to Oswego Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The investigation continues.
