MVLatinoAssocThe Mohawk Valley Latino Association is proud to present the 11th Annual Latino American Festival, Sunday, August 28 from noon to 6 p.m. at Hanna Park in Utica. This year, we are collaborating with the NAACP Utica/Oneida County branch and the American Heart Association’s “Have Faith in Heart Go Red for Women”campaign.

This free admission event will feature Latino America live entertainment lineup will include, Calle Uno (Bachata, Salsa y Merengue musica) from Rochester and La Creacion De La Sierra (Musica Duranguense) from Queens, Latino local talent showcase performances and cultural dances by Ritmo Caribeño dancers; music by DEEJAY_Richy. Other activities include a Dominoes Tournament, face painting, , relay racing, double-dutch, water balloon fight and vendors and new this year a Dance-A-Thon, Food and merchandise vendors will also be available, as well as non-profit and healthcare agencies.

This annual gathering draws nearly 200-500 people, including visitors from other communities, to celebrate Latin culture in the Mohawk Valley.
