On August 2, 2016, at approximately 5:35 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-90 for a traffic violation after being reported as an erratically driven vehicle. The driver, Stephen W. Potts, 56, of Syracuse, was found to be intoxicated. He was transported and processed at SP Junius Ponds, where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.19%. He was subsequently charged with:- Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; a Misdemeanor
Potts was turned over to a sober third party and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Tyre Court on August 16, 2016 at 5:00 p.m.
