On Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016, at 11:48 a.m., State Police in Sylvan Beach responded to a car/motorcycle crash at the intersection of Florence Hill Road and Quarry Road in the Town of Camden.
Investigation revealed a 2008 Mercedes-Benz, operated by Jay D. Plumley, 31, from Delmar, was traveling west on Quarry Road when he failed to yield at a stop sign for a 1983 Honda motorcycle that was traveling south on Florence Hill Road.
The operator, Jeremiah H. Mills, 30, from Berhards Bay, struck the passenger’s side of Plumley’s vehicle, was ejected and landed on the roof of the vehicle.
Mills was airlifted by Mercy Flight to Upstate University Medical in Syracuse for non-life threatening injuries. Plumley was treated for minor injuries and released.
