Claudia Tenney, Republican candidate for Congress in the 22nd District of New York, will tour the Fitch Dairy Farm, in West Winfield Friday, Aug. 12, at 11 a.m.
The farm has been recently highlighted in the news for their struggle to stay in business as a result of extremely low prices dairy farmers receive for their milk — the lowest since 1998.
Claudia will meet with the Fitch family and tour their farm to discuss the burdens small family farms face and her plan to fix the growing problem.
