Matthew D. Larsen, Watertown, won a new 2017 Ford Escape from F.X. Caprara Ford, Pulaski, at the Children’s Home of Jefferson County Golf Tournament held Monday, August 8, 2016, at the Ives Hill Country Club, 435 Flower Avenue West, Watertown.
Matt hit a hole in one on Ives Hill Course Hole Number Three. The Hole-In- One contest was sponsored by F.X. Caprara Ford.
The 11th annual event raised funds for the Children’s Home community-based programs including the SoZo Teen Center Boys and Girls Club. The free drop-in center offers local teens a variety of enrichment opportunities including sports and recreational opportunities, academic support (tutoring/homework help), life skills development, cooking/nutrition classes, job skills training, and field trips.
The Boys and Girls Club SoZo Teen Center is located in the rear of the Marcy Building, 167 Polk Street, Watertown – just off Public Square. Center hours are Monday through Thursday from 2:30 to 8:00 pm, and Friday until 9 p.m.
