The Greater Oneida Chamber of Commerce has named Gustafson & Wargo CPAs LLP Business of the Month for August.
Gustafson & Wargo CPAs, LLP is a continuation of Gustafson & Co., a local public accounting firm founded in 1978 with offices in Canastota and Utica, New York. The firm consists of a team of 13 dedicated professionals, eight of which are licensed CPAs.
They specialize in helping individuals, small businesses and nonprofit organizations navigate the complexities of today’s tax and regulatory environments as well as providing accounting and bookkeeping services, training and consulting. Their background, training and expertise allows the firm to personalize its approach to tax and audit services. They are particularly proud of their highly skilled staff who possess many unique qualities and who strive to maintain their industry expertise though ongoing training, both in and out of the office to better serve their clients.
Their commitment to providing the highest level of service is exemplified by their participation in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) peer review program. Peer review includes an evaluation of the Firm’s quality-control policies and procedures and an inspection of working papers and reports. Their Peer Reviews have resulted in unqualified reports with no letter of comments, the highest level of report available.
