The Hamilton Public Library is pleased to showcase the artwork of Barbara Burleigh. Beat the heat and immerse yourself in Alaska! Originally from CNY, Barbara has lived in Alaska for 17 years and her artwork features the animals, landscapes, and flora and fauna of Alaska. Her art will be on exhibit during our regular hours of operation at the Library until September 30th. Join us for a special reception and presentation on Thursday, August 25 th , from 4:30-6:00pm. Barbara will be available to answer questions about her paintings and about what it is like to live in Alaska. Refreshments for the reception will be provided by the Friends of the Library.
Save the date! The Friends of the Library are hosting their annual book sale on Friday, September 2nd , from 10am-8pm and Saturday, September 3 rd , from 10am-2pm. This is a great opportunity to find new-to- you fiction and nonfiction for adults, books for children and teens, and a few movies and music too! Want to give new life to your books, CDs, audiobooks, or DVDs? Friday, August 26th , is the last day to bring by your donations for the sale. We are very appreciative of your support and generosity, and look forward to seeing you at the book sale!
