The Scale House at the Buyea Road landfill in Lincoln is now accepting Credit Cards for day use payment and for the purchase of punch cards. All major credit cards are accepted. There is a processing fee charged to users by the credit card company: $2.50 or 3 percent of the sale, whichever is greater.
“Having the ability to pay with a credit card, especially on Saturday, will benefit the day use folks,” said Director James Zecca. “This is a service we have been trying to offer for a long time.”
Residents can continue to purchase punch cards at the main landfill office on Buyea Road Monday through Friday with cash, check or a credit card.
