Tim and Josephine Murphy, originally from Ireland and now residing in Chicago, made Canastota a stop on their summer vacation.
Traveling home from Niagara Falls, the Murphy’s enjoyed reading the plaques on the Hall of Fame Wall, including that of heavyweight pioneer John L. Sullivan.
Tim is a descendant of the legendary “Boston Strong Boy.” His grandmother was Sullivan’s niece.
