State Police in Lysander are investigating the larceny of two horse saddles during the Morgan Horse Show on September 15, 2016, at the New York State Fairgrounds. The first larceny from the DVM Barn occurred between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., where an unknown person entered the victim’s tack room and stole an M. Toulouse English hunt seat all-purpose 17-inch youth saddle. The second larceny is a Freedman World Cup Super-Grip 22inch saddle, which was taken from a tack room in the Coliseum barn sometime between 6-9 p.m.
Troopers are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the woman in the photo above. She is described as a white female, in her 40s or 50s, with blonde hair wearing a white shirt, blue jacket with a hood hanging off the back and carrying an orange/yellow bag.
