What: Kick-off the Go Red For Women campaign and introduce the 2 nd annual Go Red Survivor Class
Where: Delmonico’s Italian Steakhouse, 147 Genesee St., Utica
When: Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.; program begins at 5 p.m.
Why: The American Heart Association/American Stroke Association kicks off its newest Go Red For Women campaign, raising awareness and funds for the fight against heart disease – women’s number one killer. Local volunteers, business leaders, and survivors will join together to Speak Red and protect our community’s health.
The AHA/ASA will also formally introduce the Go Red Survivor Class of women who are heart disease and stroke survivors with inspiring stories to share.
