State Police arrested David N. Lemon, 41, of 5616 West Ava Road in Ava, for Aggravated DWI, an unclassified misdemeanor. Lemon was arrested following an investigation into a hit-and-run accident that occurred on State Route 49 in the Town of Marcy.
The investigation revealed Lemon was operating a 2014 Nissan pickup truck eastbound when he rear-ended another vehicle and then fled the scene. After a search of the area, Lemon was located in his vehicle parked in the parking area of Oriskany Flatts trailhead.
He was taken into custody for aggravated DWI (.20 percent BAC) and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Lemon is scheduled to appear in Marcy Town Court Nov. 8, 2016, at 4 p.m.
