kellum-mor-2016-fhThe North Eastern Athletic Conference has announced its weekly awards, naming Morrisville State College junior forward, Lauren Kellum (Eaton) the Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 2.

Kellum led Morrisville State to a 1-1 week, notching two goals in the 2-0 victory over Keuka on Saturday.

Both of her tallies came in the second half, and were separated by less than three minutes time as Morrisville State picked up the win.

Kellum leads Morrisville State in points (15) and goals scored (6), and is currently second in the NEAC in goals scored and is third in assists tallied (3) while ranking second overall in points.

The junior is a graduate of Morrisville-Eaton Central and is majoring in technology management – resort and recreation services. She is the daughter of Mary Orth of Eaton.
