The Cause For Cassidy benefit will take place Saturday, Oct. 15 from 2-6 p.m. at the Verona VFW, 4298 Spring Road.
Proceeds will be used to buy a handicapped-accessible van for 7-year-old Cassidy, who was born with Downs Syndrome and pulmonary hypertension. The event will feature live music from the Taryn Jessen Band, Liz Friedel, and Cato, a pig roast dinner, 50/50 raffle and other raffle prizes.
There will also be a costume party and face painting for the kids. Tickets are $20 for adults. Children 12 and younger are free.
