On Oct. 18, 2016, The New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested Ksha Faison, 28; and Jasmine N. Jones, 19; both of Utica, on three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony.
A search warrant was executed Oct. 18, 2016, at a motel room located within the Rest Inn 238 North Genesee St., Utica. Both defendants were found to be in possession of large amounts of heroin, cocaine, and crack cocaine.
Faison is currently under New York State Parole supervision from a previous drug charge. They are to be arraigned in Utica City Court relative to these charges.
The investigation is ongoing and further charges are pending. CNET was assisted by Troop D uniform patrol, members of the NYSP Special Operations Response Team, and members of the New York State Parole Office in Utica.
