“A Celebration of Needle Arts Exhibit Opening and Program” was held Oct. 16. Jo Anne Seccurra, a member of the Thread Bears Quilters’ Guild of Sherrill opened the exhibit with her presentation, “A Sampling of Quilts” from 1:30 to 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church located at 116 West Grove St., Oneida.
Following the program, from 2 to 3 p.m., the public is invited to the Madison County Historical Society, located across the street from the church, for the exhibit opening.
A Celebration of Needle Arts Exhibit showcases many quilts, embroidery, cross stitch, beaded work, and samplers from the Madison County Historical Society’s collection. Also on display will be prayer quilts on loan from the First United Methodist Church in Oneida and a sampling of quilts on loan from the Thread Bears Quilters’ Guild of Sherrill.
