On Oct. 21, 2016, at approximately 8:49 p.m., State Police responded to the Colonial Motel located at 2242 State Route 5, Schuyler, regarding an unresponsive female.
The investigation revealed a female and male had checked into the motel at approximately 7:30 p.m. at an hourly rate. At approximately 8:30 p.m., the motel manager checked to see if the room was still occupied and located the female guest, identified as Lisa A Beckwith, 39, of Utica, unresponsive.
Investigation at the scene revealed no signs of trauma. The decedent was transported to the Albany Medical Center where an autopsy is scheduled Monday to determine the official cause of death.
The investigation is continuing.
