State Senator Joseph Griffo will be at Jeb’s in Lowville this Friday to once again invite the public to join him for the latest in his series of early morning “Joe Time” coffee shop conversations.

This fourth installment of Senator Griffo’s “Joe Time” coffee shop forums will be as follows:

Date: Friday, Oct. 28

Time: 8 to 10 a.m.

Location: Jeb’s Restaurant – 5403 Shady Ave., Lowville 13367

Radio broadcast: WBRV/WLLG 101.3/99.3 FM – The Moose

NOTE: Any media outlets are also invited to stop by to cover this forum or speak with Senator Griffo if they’d like.

Senator Griffo will be at Jeb’s for the full two-hours, and there is no formal agenda for the conversations – anyone is welcome to stop by and ask some questions or share a comment.

WBRV/WLLG 101.3/99.3 FM (The Moose) will also be joining Senator Griffo to broadcast their morning show live from Jeb’s. So, if people can’t make it to the coffee shop, listeners can tune in that morning as WBRV/WLLG broadcasts the Senator’s conversations with any guests.

Calling these events “Joe Time,” Griffo said this is an opportunity for the public to stop in and chat with the Senator over coffee or breakfast. These events also coincide with a series of “Joe Time” videos about various issues and community events that Senator Griffo is periodically posting on his Facebook page at www.facebook.com/senatorgriffo.

“The coffee shop is a comfortable place for people to just come in, sit down with a cup of coffee and chat about whatever is on their minds,” said Griffo, R-Rome. “I have already hosted a number of these events throughout my district, and many constituents seem to appreciate this informal opportunity to speak with me about any issues or concerns they may have. I invite anyone from the community to join me for some friendly conversation over coffee, and I look forward to hearing their opinions and answering whatever questions I can.”
