crayonsJoin coloring enthusiast Midge Herrick at the Cazenovia Public Library to “Color Yourself Peaceful.” This fun and relaxing adult program will be presented on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 2:30 p.m. in the Community Room.

Midge Herrick discovered coloring a year and a half ago when a friend recommended an adult coloring program. Herrick sought out her own coloring books and quickly fell in love with the creative activity.

In this program, she will share some of her projects, offer coloring tips and tricks, and discuss the history of the pastime, including its emergence in the 19th century and development into a popular adult activity. Following this brief presentation, participants will have the opportunity to switch off, relax, and color!

Herrick will provide all necessary materials, including gel pens, colored pencils, markers, bookmarks, a variety of coloring books, and Christmas-themed drawings to kick off the holiday season. Participants will also receive special notecards to take home.

All events at the Cazenovia Public Library are free and open to the public. For more information on this and other Library events, call 655-9322 or visit www.cazenoviapubliclibrary.org.
