barbThe Old Town of Eaton Museum will be hosting its annual Thanksgiving pie and gift sale and open house Saturday, Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. in Eaton.

The list of pies include pumpkin, lemon, peach, elderberry, blackberry, cherry, cider, apple, mince, and many other baked goods, gift breads and goodies.

There is also a free handout with recipes to each visitor as well as the well-known “Colonial Cookbook” for purchase, which features pies, early holiday specialty foods and stories of old New England where many of the Eaton settlers originated.

There will also be gifts, history books for sale and a “tee shirt riot sale.

The sale will be located at the Old Auction Barn next to the Post Office on Route 26 in the Hamlet of Eaton. So there will be plenty of parking.

All proceeds benefit the Old Town of Eaton Museum that is housed in the oldest stone building in the Town of Eaton. The museum building dates to 1806.
