jessmore-brianOn September 16, 2016, State Police responded to an ambulance call at a residence on Skylark Circle in the Town of Clay.

When Troopers arrived, the father of the victim reported that his six-week old infant accidently fell off his knee and hit the floor. The infant was unconscious, not breathing and was transported by NAVAC ambulance to SUNY Upstate Medical Center where she was listed in critical condition.  The victim was treated for two weeks and released on September 29, 2016.

On November 10, 2016, Investigator William Casey arrested Brian Jessmore, age 33, from Skylark Circle in Clay, NY for (2) counts of Assault in the second degree, a class “D” felony and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class “A” misdemeanor.  Jessmore was arraigned in the Town of Clay and remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center on $25,000 cash/bond.

The victim is currently recovering with family, because of her young age it is unknown at this time what developmental delays and lifelong deficits she will have.
