workshop2It’s all within View! Join us for a weekend of holiday fun, Nov. 25 through 27. Kick off the weekend with Ornament Decorating and Tie Dye T-shirts on both Friday and Saturday. Spend some time holiday shopping for handcrafted pottery at View’s annual Holiday Sale fundraiser and see what our gift shop has to offer.
The galleries are open from 9 am to 4 pm all weekend long. New exhibits include Michael Tarantelli: Portraits and Northwind Fine Arts.
Starting Nov. 21, and continuing through December, stop by to stroll through View’s lobby to see what work is being showcased for the annual Holiday Sale. You may even go home with a piece of your own! The sale will help support View’s ceramic program. Don’t miss your chance to buy wonderfully handcrafted holiday presents!

From 10 to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 25 and 26, stop by with the family for holiday ornament decorating. Decorate ceramic ornaments using acrylic paint and take them with you to show off at home! $5 per ornament or $10 for three ornaments. Preregistration is not required and walk-ins are welcome!
Also, Nov. 25 and 26 from 1 to 2:30 p.m., bring the family for tie-dye t-shirts. Make a t-shirt, holiday themed or not, the choice is yours! $20 for View members or $25 for non-members. Preregistration is required. Registration deadline is Nov. 23, 2016.
View’s gift shop will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Nov. 25 through 27, so you can do some holiday shopping while you’re here, too! We have handmade, one-of-a-kind pottery, glass earrings, alpaca blankets and scarves, and all kinds of children’s crafts, coloring books and stocking stuffers as well. Plus, all of your favorite local artists’ goodies: Carolyn Gaylord’s silver jewelry, Sam Glenny’s ceramic vases, Joanne DeStefano’s Local Landmark Postcards, Linda Scherz Allen’s handcrafted baskets, Donna Stoner’s plein air painting, Adirondack Mountain Coffee, and that is just to name a few.
We thank our volunteers, members, non-members, and artists for all that they do to support View! We hope that you enjoy a wonderful holiday season!
