The Herkimer Mini Park Festival of Lights celebration will take place on Monday, December 5, beginning at 7 p.m. The park is located on the corner of West Smith and William Streets.
The event will kick off with a presentation of colors by the Herkimer VFW followed by a welcome and official lighting of the park by long-time local attorney and community member George Aney. The highlight of the evening will be Santa’s arrival by fire truck. Entertainment will be provided by the Herkimer High School band.
Herkimer County Community College is a long-time supporter of the Herkimer Mini Park, and annually collaborates with partners to provide this event for the community.
