On Monday, Nov. 28, 2016, at approximately 12:12 a.m., State Police responded to a one-car crash on State Route 80 just south of Apulia Road in the Town of Fabius, Onondaga County.
A 2006 Jeep, operated by Desiree A. Mannino, was westbound on Route 80 in the town of Fabius when the vehicle drove off the shoulder of the roadway colliding with a road sign and utility pole. The crash sheared both the road sign and utility pole, causing the pole to fall across the roadway.
Mannino left the scene and was located at her residence in Tully.
Desiree A. Mannino, 29, of 36 Elm St., Tully, was arrested for the following:
- Aggravated DWI ( .19% BAC), a class “A” misdemeanor
- Leaving the Scene of a property damage accident, a violation.
- Speed not reasonable and prudent, a violation.
- Moved from Lane Unsafely, a violation.
- Drinking Alcohol while operating a Motor Vehicle, a violation.
Mannino was issued appearance tickets returnable in Fabius Town Court on Dec. 1, 2016, at 7 p.m.
