On Nov. 26, 2016, State Police in Sylvan beach were dispatched to a report of an ex-boyfriend attempting to run his ex-girlfriend over while she was walking along the side of the road.
Investigation revealed that Phillip M. Manske, 47, of Blossvale, had been involved in a physical argument with his ex-girlfriend during a domestic dispute previously that morning.
As she was walking down State Route 49, Manske followed her in his vehicle and swerved to strike her causing her to fear for her life.
Manske was subsequently arrested for Menacing 2nd degree and Reckless Endangerment 2nd degree, both class “A” misdemeanors. He was arraigned in the Town of Vienna Court and released on his own recognizance.
