On Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016, at 11:30 a.m., State Police in Elbridge responded to 980 Schaap Road, Jordan, for a reported house fire. Scott R. Dombroski, 43, was located by firefighters in his first-floor bedroom and was transported to SUNY Upstate Medical University where he is currently listed in critical condition.
Onondaga County Fire Investigator Ron Ryan responded and is currently working to determine the cause of the fire.
Several reptiles were located alive inside the residence and were turned over to a neighbor. The investigation is continuing.
