care-photoThe Credit Abuse Resistance Education Program sponsored by the Central New York Bankruptcy Bar Association gave a presentation to Mr. Esposito’s Career and Financial Management class Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016, at Canastota High School.

The presenters were Greg Germain, a Syracuse University Law Professor and Bankruptcy Clinic Director, and Amanda Shaw, a partner in Riehlman Shafer in Tully, who represents creditors in collecting debts.

Shaw has been practicing for more than 20 years while Germain has been practicing for more than 30 years.

The topics discussed with the students included Financial Management, Credit Card Debt, Living Within Your Means, Financing College and Student Loan Debt, Long Term Thinking, and the three Credit Bureaus: Experian, Equifax, Transunion and the respective Credit Score – FICO.
