State Police are investigating a fatal two-car crash that occurred on Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, on State Route 365 in the Town of Verona, Oneida County.
At approximately 6:10pm, a 1998 Subaru Legacy, operated by Kelly Anne Herr, 52, of Old Forge, was traveling south on State Route 365 in the northbound passing lane when she struck a 2011 Chevrolet Impala, operated by Sunee Delorenzo, 51, of Rome, head-on.
Herr was transported to SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse where she was pronounced deceased. Delorenzo was transported to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Utica with multiple leg fractures and internal injuries. She is listed in stable condition.
The investigation is continuing at this hour.
