The New York State Police in Onondaga County conducted an Underage Drinking detail during the evening hours of March 17th. A total of (26) retail establishments were checked in the townships of Clay, Camillus and Vanburen, as well as the village of Elbridge. The following (25) establishments were checked and found to be in compliance:

State Police would like to commend these businesses in Onondaga County for their compliance during the initiative and is grateful for their support in preventing underage drinking.
A cashier at the Kinney Drugs, 7608 Oswego Rd., Liverpool NY sold alcohol to a 17-year-old minor who was working with the State Police. Deborah L. Foster, 54, of Liverpool, was arrested for violating section 260.20(2) of the Penal Law and section 65(c) of the ABC Law. She was issued an appearance ticket for the town of Clay Court.
