On April 12, 2017, at approximately 11:30 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on Interstate I-90, Town of Verona for a vehicle and traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle, Raymond A. Searle, age 34, of Syracuse, NY, was found to be intoxicated. He was transported and processed at SP Syracuse, were his blood alcohol content was determined to be .16%. Additionally, he has a prior DWI conviction within the last 10 years and as a result was subsequently charged with:- Driving While Intoxicated; a Class E Felony
- Multiple Vehicle and Traffic Violations.
Searle was arraigned in the Town of Verona Court and posted $1000. Cash bail. He was released on tickets to a sober third party with a return court date of April 18, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. in the Town of Verona Court.
