Men’s Soccer Rising Senior Selected to Represent Patriot League at National Level
Colgate men’s soccer rising senior Chase Pagani has been named Patriot League representative to the NCAA Division I Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
Pagani, who serves as Colgate’s SAAC Co-President, begins his term of service with the NCAA SAAC June 1.
Student-Athlete Advisory Committees give student-athletes a voice in the NCAA at the campus, conference and national levels. Each committee is composed of student-athletes who provide insight on the student-athlete experience and offer input on the rules, regulations and policies that affect their lives on campus.
As a member of the NCAA SAAC, Pagani will help generate a student-athlete voice within the NCAA structure. The committee is responsible for soliciting student-athlete response to proposed NCAA legislation and recommending potential future NCAA legislation. Pagani will participate regularly in committee meetings and conference calls throughout his term of service.
As the Co-President of Colgate SAAC, Pagani helped organize a number of campus initiatives this year, including the SAAC 5K that benefitted the Bob Woodruff Foundation. Pagani has seen action in 47 games throughout his career on the Colgate men’s soccer team, serving as a key member of the Raider midfield.
