On Saturday, July 29, Old Home Day, the New Woodstock Free Library will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with activities inside and out. Inside, there’ll be face painting and crafts for kids, an educational astronomy exhibit, plus an exhibit and sale of paintings by Agnes Elliott.

Outside there will be local craft vendors and at 1:30 p.m., a bicycle repair workshop. Wagon rides sponsored by the library and the historical society will start from the historical society depot from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The exhibit and sale of paintings by 99-year-old Elliott will mirror a similar display of Elliott’s work at the Historical Society Depot. Agnes started painting at 70, which earned her the nickname “Grandma Moses” from her husband Jack.
