The Madison County Democratic Committee has endorsed Ann Jones as its candidate for County Clerk. Jones has been working at the Board of Elections since 2004 and is currently serving as the Democratic Deputy Commissioner.

“I’m running for county clerk because I want to ensure that the incredible customer service the clerk’s office staff already provides will continue, and there is always room for growth. I also want to expand round-the-clock online services, which will save taxpayers money,” Jones said. “I strongly believe that the county offices need to work for every citizen. We need to ensure that government services are efficient and accessible to all. I have had ample opportunity, through formal education, work experiences, and serving the community, to build a solid leadership platform that includes positive thinking, confident communication skills, and proven leadership abilities.”
