The Madison County Healthy Start Partnership is celebrating World Breastfeeding Week, Aug. 1 through 7, with a special event Friday, Aug. 4, from noon to 3 pm at Breastfeeding Connections Café located at
607 Seneca Ave., Oneida. New or expectant moms and their young children and guests are invited to attend. There will be lunch, hand and shoulder massages and giveaways in addition to the what the
Café typically has to offer.
Breastfeeding Connections is a baby weigh station open Mondays from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and Fridays from 1 to 3 p.m. The Café is held on the first and third Fridays of the month and includes a light lunch and a space for moms to connect with other moms.
Enjoy a comfortable space to get professional breastfeeding support, check baby’s weight and milk intake, and connect to community resources such as WIC. Call 315-361-2065 to make an appointment.
No appointment is necessary for the Café. Simply drop by to talk with other moms or get your questions answered by lactation helpers.
