The Morrisville State College athletics department released the 2017 schedule, and for the first time in nearly 20 years of competition, the Mustangs will serve as the host site to an early season invitational.
Morrisville State will open the season on the road Saturday, Sept. 2, at nearby SUNY Polytechnic for the short course invitational, before making their home debut the following Saturday, hosting an invitational set to begin at 10 a.m. on the college’s campus.
On the 23rd, Morrisville State will travel to Roberts & Wesleyan, before heading down the road to nearby conference opponent Cazenovia College on the 30th for the Wildcat Invitational.
October will bring three straight meets on the road each Saturday, kicking off with the Hamilton College Invitational on the 7th, followed by the Cross Country Only Championships (CCOC’s) held in Geneva on the 14th.
Morrisville State will return to Hamilton College for a short course invite on the 21st, before returning home to host the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Championships on the 28th.
