Friends of Rogers invites community members to purchase a Shopping Pass for Boscov’s annual “Friends Helping Friends” event to be held Oct. 17. Priced at just $5 each, 100 percent of proceeds from passes sold by Friends of Rogers go directly to support operations at Rogers Environmental Education Center in Sherburne.

Friends” runs from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m. at all 45 Boscov’s locations in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland,
New Jersey, New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Throughout the day, shoppers have the opportunity to
win fabulous prizes, while enjoying refreshments and entertainment throughout the store.
“This unique partnership with Boscov’s is a win-win all-around,” said Simon Solomon, FOR executive director. “Pass holders get a head-start on holiday shopping during the ‘Friends Helping Friends’ event, and Rogers Center receives much-needed financial support.”
“Friends Helping Friends” Shopping Passes can be purchased at NBT Bank in Sherburne or from Friends of Rogers during regular business hours.
Rogers Center is operated by Friends of Rogers Environmental Education Center, Inc., a nonprofit
organization that offers educational programs for people of all ages. Summer hours are from 10 a.m. to
4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Rogers Environmental Education Center, the popular regional attraction visited by nearly 15,000 annually, hosts programs in every season of the year. Friends of Rogers is raising funds to support Rogers Center through sales of Boscov’s “Friends Helping Friends” Shopping Passes, which can be used at all 45 retail locations Oct. 17.
