(UPDATE – corrected date) The Chenango Bird Club presents “2017 Notes from a Roadside Naturalist” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, at Rogers Environmental Education Center’s Visitor Center. Our presenter, photographer Rick Bunting, will show a collection of photos which tell the nature stories he found most interesting this year (so far). He’s also hoping to have some new additions (including owls) before next month’s program.
Following Rick’s presentation, all meeting attendees will be asked to judge the biennial photo contest, as we will have all submitted photos on display. Also at this time, refreshments will be served.
Prior to the show the Chenango Bird Club will have a short business meeting (beginning at 6:30 p.m.). Everyone is welcome to attend all or part of the evening’s activities.
The Chenango Bird Club presents monthly programs (except January, February and March). Nature enthusiasts of all levels and interests are invited to all Chenango Bird Club programs, free of charge, at the Rogers Environmental Education Center Visitor Center. Rogers Center is located one mile west of Sherburne Village on State Highway 80. Coming from Sherburne, drive past the main entrance and take the driveway to the right just past the parking lot exit to reach the staff parking lot.
